Please read these terms before using Chan Phở. By transmitting files on your local network using this service, you agree to these fair-use terms.

1. Agreement to Terms & Service Description

Local P2P File Sharing

Chan Phở provides browser-to-browser peer-to-peer file transfer over WebRTC, supported by a fallback server relay mechanism over local WebSockets when direct channels cannot be established. By accessing or using Chan Phở, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service.

2. Permitted Use & Content Responsibility

Lawful Local Transmission

User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the files you choose to transfer across your network.
Lawful Use: You agree not to use the service to transmit malware, unauthorized copyrighted material, or harmful files.
Network Boundaries: Transfers are intended for devices co-located on your local Wi-Fi or LAN network.

3. Relay Retention & Best-Effort Cleanup

~1 Hour Memory Buffer

When relay fallback is required, the current server process attempts best-effort cleanup of tracked files after roughly one hour. File transfers are temporary and not intended as permanent cloud storage or file hosting.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Provided "As-Is"

Chan Phở is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Transfer speeds depend on local Wi-Fi conditions, browser support, and hardware capabilities.

5. Changes & Policy Modifications

Operational Updates

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time to reflect software updates or operational changes. Continued use of Chan Phở constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
